Bvlgari marked the exclusive Australian launch of its Allegra fragrance collection with an elegant and immersive event held at the iconic Aria restaurant in Sydney.

Designed to capture the spirit of la dolce vita, the event welcomed key media and KOLs into the radiant world of Allegra—a fragrance line that celebrates Italian joy, passion and self-expression. Set against panoramic harbour views, guests enjoyed fine champagne and an immersive scent journey showcasing the craftsmanship behind Bvlgari Parfums, which is distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Cosmax Prestige Brands, a leading independent distributor of globally recognised beauty and fragrance names.

Inspired by the Italian lifestyle and the essence of extraordinary Italian women, each Allegra Eau de Parfum can be layered with a Magnifying Essence to create a personalised scent signature. Guests explored these endless olfactory combinations in a hands-on masterclass led by National Trainer Rajja Richani.

The event opened with remarks from Victor Tesniere, Regional Commercial Director, who flew in from Singapore for the event and set the tone for the celebration: “The legacy of Italian creativity and Roman magnificence—at Bvlgari, we believe that life is a work of art,” he said. “Our creations are inspired by heritage, inclusivity and cultural openness, turning beauty into something that connects and surrounds us all.”

Victor also reflected on the brand’s fragrance journey: “It was in 1992 that we introduced perfume to our watch and jewellery clients, and it was such a success it marked the birth of Bvlgari Parfums—crafted with the same care and excellence as our iconic jewels.”

Wil Haymes, Brand Manager for Bvlgari Parfums in Australia, shared the local journey of bringing Allegra to market.

“I’ve been lucky enough to represent Bvlgari Parfums here in Australia for the past four years, and Allegra has been the longest labour process of my career,” said Wil. “It took us two and a half years to bring it to market—and we’ve done it at the perfect time.”

Describing Allegra as a tribute to life’s most joyful memories, he added: “These fragrances are about finding those perfect moments—whether it’s a night out with your girlfriends, treasured time with family, or something unforgettable with a loved one. What makes it truly unique is the layering potential. Each Eau de Parfum can be paired with any Magnifying Essence, creating endless possibilities for personal expression.”

The launch event concluded with a scent-matching session, allowing each guest to discover their ideal pairing—expressing their emotions through fragrance in true Roman style.

Adding to the excitement was the introduction of the newest addition to the Allegra line: Bvlgari Allegra Insieme. Created by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier and his daughter Camille, the latest scent celebrates the uplifting power of togetherness with an unexpected woody floral composition.

‘Insieme’ — Italian for ‘together’ — brings a new emotional dimension to the collection, combining the elegant strength of cedarwood with the sensual softness of peony. Accents of patchouli add warmth, while cheeky mandarin notes provide a fresh, playful edge.

The sleek pink glass flacon, inspired by ancient Roman columns and modern femininity, also reflects Bvlgari’s commitment to sustainability—crafted from 96% glass and easily recyclable components.

Like all Allegra fragrances, Insieme can be paired with any Magnifying Essence, with Magnifying Musk and Magnifying Sandalwood recommended for a customised finish.
