An emerging clean beauty brand will have the chance to showcase their product to key industry figures at a networking event in March.

Cathy Tolpigin, founder of The Green Edit,  has revealed she will provide one free exhibitor space at the event, being held on March 10 in Sydney.

“This initiative will afford a new brand the opportunity to tell their story, showcase their offering, connect with key media, influences, retailers and consumers and network with like-minded founders,” Cathy said.

At the event, exhibitors have the chance to connect with more than key media and influencers, buyers, mindful consumers and other natural beauty and lifestyle brands.

“We look forward to welcoming an emerging brand into The Green Edit community,” Cathy said.

“Working alone in a new business when starting out can be confusing, isolating and extremely difficult, many of us are sole business owners and we have created a wonderful supportive community where brand founders can connect and share experience and knowledge within our platform.

Speaking about the previous event, Julie Mathers, Founder of Flora & Fauna said: “Following on from the event we took on three new brands. The real power of The Green Edit was the opportunity to have face to face conversations with brand founders.”

The  prize for the selected brand is valued at more than $1,400 and includes:

  • Event and Green Beauty Directory listing and digital media promotion
  • One  table plus white table cloth,  an A4 branded strut card and exhibitor lunch on the day
  • Entry to The Best of The Green Edit People’s Choice Award 2022
  •  A Quarterly Fireside Chat via Zoom
  • ‘Loved By the Green Edit’ stamp logo usage license for six months
  • Instagram grid plus story post
  • Editorial feature in The Green Edit Journal plus edm

Applications are open to brands that are under two years old and yet to turn a profit. As a business with inclusivity as one of their guiding principles, Cathy has said she is prioritising brands founded by BIPOC and people with disabilities that align with The Green Edit clean beauty criteria.
