La Roche-Posay has long been a leader in acne treatment with its award-winning Effaclar range.

Developed for sensitive, oily and acne-prone skin, the Effaclar range is scientifically proven to target breakouts and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, as well as combatting moisture loss and dehydration.

Newly renovated products in the Effaclar range include a larger Effaclar Serum in a 50ml bottle and repackaged Effaclar H Iso-Biome (formally Effaclar H) Cream Cleanser and Hydrating Moisturiser, which are specifically designed for skin overdried from other acne-related treatments.

Rachel McAdam, La Roche-Posay Medical Communications Manager, said the  Effaclar Ultra Concentrated Serum was now available in a larger size “due to its popularity and because ongoing use of this formulation can provide added benefits”.

“The new and improved formulation of Effaclar H Iso-Biome benefits the skin’s hydrolipidic film and microbiome. The formula reinforces the skin barrier function reducing irritation and redness. This is important for all skin types including skin experiencing acne,” she said.

To celebrate the launch, media and influencers were invited to an Effaclar Derm Live event. Laura Henshaw, co-founder and CEO of @keepitcleaner, led guests through a  morning stretch class before dermatologist Dr Jo-Ann See and journalist Jacqueline Felgate held an insightful conversation about taking a holistic approach to acne.

Guests were also inveted to try La Roche-Posay’s Spotscan technology, the world’s first acne diagnosis tool powered by advanced artificial intelligence.
