Skincare giant Nivea, owned by Beiersdorf, has kicked off its 2025 fundraising campaign for long-standing charity partner Look Good Feel Better (LGFB), aiming to raise $150,000 to support Australians undergoing cancer treatment.

Research shows that there are an estimated 165,000 new cases of cancer each year in Australia. A diagnosis is not just a medical battle, but often, also an emotional one, as patients learn to navigate life with the effects of treatment.

As part of its Care Beyond Skin initiative, Nivea is donating 10 cents from every product sold at Coles, Woolworths, and Chemist Warehouse until June 30. Funds raised will help deliver LGFB’s free workshops and Confidence Kits, which offer skincare and cosmetic products designed to support physical and emotional wellbeing during treatment.

LGFB provides non-medical support to more than 10,000 Australians diagnosed with cancer each year, including in regional areas, where patients face 1.3 times greater mortality rates and reduced access to healthcare services compared to those in metropolitan centres.

“Look Good Feel Better remains committed to empowering cancer patients with confidence through self-care,” said Clynton Bartholomeusz, Managing Director of Beiersdorf Australia and New Zealand. “Our goal is to utilise Nivea’s voice and nationwide presence to raise $150,000 by the end of June. This will go towards supporting 150 regional and metro-based workshops for 1,500 cancer patients.”

The workshops, delivered by trained volunteers, cover everything from skincare and makeup application to scarf styling, wig care, nutrition and mental wellbeing. Each participant receives a complimentary Confidence Kit, with products supplied by brands including Nivea.

“Each year we support more than 10,000 cancer patients during what is often the most overwhelming time in their lives,” said LGFB General Manager Carol Kavurma. “It is through the compassion and continued support of longstanding partners like Nivea that we can provide care, confidence, and connection to Australians when it is most needed, regardless of what type of cancer they have or where they live.”

Nivea and LGFB have partnered for more than two decades, and both brands are calling on Australians to support the initiative with every purchase between now and June 30.

“Together, we can show that care goes beyond skin,” said Bartholomeusz.
