Australian fashion brand Lee Mathews celebrated 25 years at Australian Fashion Week presented by Shark Beauty with the unveiling of its Resort ’26 collection—a tribute to craftsmanship, collaboration, and considered design.
Leading the beauty direction backstage was Rationale, partnering with Lee Mathews to deliver the show’s luminous skin look. Spearheaded by Linda Jefferyes, the complexion was kept natural, dewy, and sun-kissed—reflecting the resort mood while highlighting both brands’ shared commitment to artistry, luminosity, and innovation.
Hair direction followed suit, with Kevin Murphy creating soft, freshly-washed textures that mirrored the collection’s gentle fluidity. The look was intentionally light and fluffy, enhancing each model’s natural form and complementing the understated elegance of the garments.
The Resort ’26 collection itself was a reflection on past, present, and future. Archival silhouettes were reimagined through a contemporary lens, with tonal colourways allowing texture, technique, and form to shine. Custom fabrications, hand-finished embroidery, and subtle stitchwork underscored the label’s commitment to detail and refinement.
Behind the scenes, Delta Global supplied custom sustainable garment bags for the collection and collaborated on bespoke gift bags for guests. Attendees included Nigella Lawson, Maggie Beer, Miranda Otto, and Isabel Lucas, while friends of the brand—such as Saskia Havekes of Grandiflora and model Alexia Spalding—took to the runway in a celebration of community and connection.
