Trinny London has unveils its newest innovation: Trinity, a dual-ended, multitasking makeup stick designed for seamless use across lips, cheeks and eyes. Described by founder Trinny Woodall as “your passport to effortless transformation,” Trinity blends creamy matte pigment with a luminous glow balm in one sleek, take-anywhere format.

Speaking exclusively with Retail Beauty, Trinny described the new launch as the “capsule wardrobe of your makeup bag,” created for people who want to look pulled together in moments. “There are days when I don’t want to spend more than a minute on my makeup,” she said. “You might be in your car on the school run, about to bump into someone, and you just want that quick moment to look alive again. This is for those moments.”

Trinity is available in three curated shade duos, each inspired by a location that holds deep personal meaning for Trinny. New York, a brownstone brown paired with a rose gold glow, nods to where she first discovered skincare as a teen. “New York is where I went down Fifth Avenue with my godmother and found Clinique’s three-step system—it was like a miracle for my acne-prone skin,” she recalled. “I wanted this shade to capture that ‘don’t mess with me’ 90s power woman energy. Think Christy Turlington in her prime.” Venice, a soft dusky rose paired with golden pink glow, is a tribute to the city where her daughter Lila was christened, and Mustique, a fresh petal pink with a sunset bronze glow, is inspired by the idyllic island escape where Trinny finds respite and renewal.

In a live demo during the interview, Trinny showcased just how versatile Trinity is, using it on her lips, cheeks, eyes, and even as a soft contour and highlighter. “You can blend it in with fingers. It’s so intuitive. I want people to feel empowered to use makeup even if they’re not makeup artists. You don’t need a brush. You just need a moment and Trinity in your pocket,” she said.

The dual-ended stick features two distinct textures: a creamy matte and a silky balm glow. Trinny emphasised that both sides are meant to be equally usable and wearable. “I didn’t want to create something where you love one end and ignore the other. You can wear both together or on their own—some days I just use the glow end on my lips, other days I layer both for that really polished look. You can even layer shades from different sticks—Mustique with a touch of Venice, for example—it’s makeup freedom.”

The product also ties into Trinny London’s broader beauty philosophy, which is all about enhancing natural features rather than masking them. “We don’t create skincare to make your makeup look better,” she explained. “We create skincare so that you don’t have to wear so much makeup. And when you do, it should enhance what’s already there.”

While the brand remains a digital-first business with 90% of its sales currently coming from direct-to-consumer, Trinny says retail is a growing focus. “After Covid, we realised there’s a big group of women who still love that tactile retail experience. They came to us online out of necessity, but now they want to explore in-person. So we’re evolving our retail spaces to reflect where we are today as a brand. I’m coming to Australia in September and some of our first locations—like Bondi—are getting a major overhaul.”

Trinny’s plans don’t stop at makeup. She hinted at more skincare innovations on the horizon, particularly focused on ingredient delivery. “We’re deep in the lab right now,” she said. “What’s exciting is not just what ingredients we’re using—like peptides, hyaluronic acids and vitamins—but how we’re delivering them. That’s the future of skincare, and we’re obsessed with it.”

Trinity is available now exclusively at trinnylondon.com, retailing for $68.
