Weleda Australia returned to Australian Fashion Week presented by Shark Beauty this year, partnering with two iconic designers—Nagnata and Bianca Spender—to champion natural, skin-first beauty. Collaborating once again with renowned Makeup Artist Victoria Baron, Weleda’s Skin Food range took centre stage backstage, helping create glowing complexions that celebrated individuality, rawness, and elegance.

At Nagnata’s Aeris Resort 2026 show, the beauty look focused on honest, hydrated skin that reflected the brand’s conscious ethos and elevated athleticwear aesthetic. “For the Nagnata show, we wanted the skin to feel raw, honest, and considered,” said Baron. “We created a beautiful, hydrated glow using Weleda products—starting with a gentle cleanse and lymphatic massage using Skin Food Serum and Skin Food. We kept the natural flush, brushed up brows, curled lashes and created a custom blush tone placed under the eyes to mimic warmth from the sun and movement.”

The subtle blush echoed the red accents in Nagnata’s collection, while lips were hydrated with Skin Food Lip Balm and a final spritz of Skin Food Ultra-Light Dry Oil enhanced body glow. “The overall feeling was fresh, real, and true to each model,” Baron said.

Meanwhile, Bianca Spender’s show presented a refined beauty direction to complement her sophisticated, movement-inspired designs. “I wanted the skin to feel as though it had just emerged from water,” said Baron. “We used Weleda to prep and nourish the skin, then lightly refined it. Eyes featured a soft, worn-in cream tone and curled lashes, while lips offered a sense of structure—some gently defined, others left bare, with Skin Food Lip Balm applied to the centre for a subtle hit of hydration and light.”

In addition to its backstage presence, Weleda hosted an exclusive Skin Food Activation during AFW. Guests were invited to attend Skin Sessions in partnership with celebrity makeup artist Michael Brown, who shared expert tips and tricks for achieving runway-ready skin using the iconic Skin Food range. Attendees enjoyed refreshing Skin Food juices, photo moments, and a luxe goodie bag—rounding out a holistic experience that celebrated beauty from the inside out.

Charmaine Pichler, Managing Director of Weleda Australia, praised the partnerships and broader AFW presence: “At Weleda, we believe beauty begins with honest, healthy skin. Supporting artists like Victoria Baron and purpose-driven brands like Nagnata and designers Bianca Spender is a powerful way to show that natural skincare not only performs — it empowers. We’re proud to bring that vision to the runway.”

Weleda’s Skin Food range continues to be a backstage favourite, with a recent internal survey showing 99% of makeup artists recommend and carry it in their kit.*
