BWX, the owner of the Sukin, Andalou Naturals, USPA and Mineral Fusion brands and Nourished Life, Australia’s number one natural personal care and lifestyle B2C platform, has built up a considerable business in Australia, the US, Canada and the UK.
Priority international markets include China and the naturally-focused company has announced a new Ingenuity partnership with THG, Europe’s leading online beauty retailer, to boost its direct-to-consumer reach in Europe, North America and the Asia/Pacific region.
BWX acquired Andalou Naturals, the number one facial skincare brand in the US natural channel, for US$80 million in 2017.
THG recently made global headlines because of its US$2.4 billion IPO on the London Stock Exchange and has also signed two other new deals with Lulu Guinness, the UK accessories designer, and Orlebar Brown, the British men’s swimwear brand which is part of the Chanel group.
The company also announced the launch of THG Eco, an initiative aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and introducing new sustainability policies.
Each of the new THG Ingenuity partnerships offers something unique to their audiences, says Matthew Moulding, founder and CEO of THG.
“With regards to THG Eco, for all businesses, the threat of climate change means that reducing the environmental impact of their operations is no longer a choice – it has become a pre-requisite.
“At THG we are very aware of the challenge we are all faced with, which is why the launch of THG Eco is so important and will ensure we’re fulfilling our responsibilities to the planet and to the people around us as we continue to pursue our ambitious growth plans.”
