Pop-ups are powerful advertising tools for brands. When promoting fragrances, pop-ups are an immersive tactic that exposes the brand to new consumers in the retail sector. It also gives shoppers an opportunity to smell a fragrance before buying.

After the success of previous pop-ups, Goldfield & Banks has extended its David Jones pop-up until Father’s Day for shoppers looking for last-minute gifts.

The pop-up is located in the David Jones Beauty Hall. Guests can shop the entire Goldfield & Banks collection, receive free gifts post-purchase, and experience the newly launched Native Collection fragrance, Mystic Bliss. Shoppers can also find an on-site engraver this Thursday night from 6pm-8pm for a complimentary engraving on any full-size bottle purchase.

Goldfield & Bank’s latest fragrance, Mystic Bliss, coincides with the ongoing pop-up. The invigorating fragrance reflects upon the Aurora Australis, adorning the starry night sky over Tasmania. It has aromatic notes of heady woods and ripe fig, with a powdery softness of orris leaves that are both calming and addictive.

Founded by Dimitri Weber, Godfield & Banks represents Weber’s love for Australia’s lush, botanical beauty. Weber has revolutionised modern perfumery as he explores Australia’s exceptional and rare essences to create luxurious fragrances.

Mystic Bliss, crafted by Weber and master perfumer Florian Gallo, is structured in three phases:

  • SUNRISE: A blend of Kunzea Accord, Oliban, Fig, Mint, Cardamom from Guatemala, and Cassis.
  • SUMMIT: Notes of Clary Sage, Caramel, Geranium, Juniper, Immortelle, and Orris.
  • SUNSET: A combination of Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Labdanum Absolute, and Vetiver.

Gallo, a Parisian perfumer of Armenian heritage, blends tradition with innovation in his work. He trained at ISIPCA and Robertet and became the first perfumer to lead Firmenich’s Fine Fragrance company. He was recognised with the International Perfumer-Creator award in 2019. As a millennial, Florian is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of perfumery, drawing inspiration from emotions and raw materials.
