Actress and beauty entrepreneur Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her Florence by Mills beauty and skincare brand, is expanding her creative vision into the world of fashion.

Launched in 2019, Florence by Mills quickly gained popularity for its clean, affordable products aimed at Gen Z. The brand reflects Millie’s belief that beauty is about embracing individuality, self-care, and self-expression. With cruelty-free, vegan formulas that are free from parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances, Florence by Mills has established itself as a fun, inclusive brand focused on making beauty accessible to young people.

Now, Millie is bringing her ethos of self-expression into the fashion space with the launch of her Florence by Mills eyewear collection at Specsavers, available in-store and online across Australia.

This latest partnership between Specsavers and the young actress features 12 playful optical frames. The eyewear designs are inspired by the natural world through organic temple shapes, ocean-inspired waves, and vibrant crystal colours.

Through a combination of matte and high-gloss textures, each piece aims to encapsulate the brand’s ideals of self-love, embracing one’s individuality, and having self-confidence.

Florence by Mills founder Millie, commented on the recent collection;

Florence by Mills first launched as a beauty proposition in 2019. What spurred you to create the brand and where did you pull inspiration from?

I created Florence by Mills to be a brand for EVERYONE. I wanted Florence by Mills to be the safe place where you can explore your own style and continue to evolve and grow with no judgment or rules.

From beauty to accessories, what was the impetus for shifting into the style space? And why a glasses collection?

After fashion, glasses felt like the perfect next step for Florence. I love using eyewear to take my style to the next level and have fun with accessories!

How would you describe the Florence by Mills aesthetic? And how does this style manifest in the glasses collection?

The Florence by Mills aesthetic is fun and unique! We made sure to have different frames and multiple colours for every style and personality so that each person can have fun with eyewear and create their own aesthetic.

You have very much forged a comfortable space as a style icon. What are your top tips for accessorising?

My best tip is that less is really more. I love styling a simple look with one or two statement pieces. Eyewear is normally my “go to.” I find that a really cool pair of glasses instantly elevates an outfit.

The epitome of a multi-hyphenate, between acting, running a successful business and authoring — you wear many hats. How do you like to switch off?

I love being at home on my farm with my loved ones and my animals. It’s my favourite way to switch off!
