Yes, run don’t walk. You’ve read correctly.

M.A.C has permanently dropped the prices of several of its products.

These changes will take affect from 14 October, which is just in time for the festive season.

The products in the new pricing structure include Single Eyeshadows which have dropped from $33 to $29 and Single Wand Mascaras which will now retail at $39 instead of $42.

But most importantly, M.A.C’s cult Lipsticks will cost just $30 creating a saving of $6.

This change has come after years of fluctuating makeup prices due to foreign exchange rates, costs of manufacturing, shipping, handling and local GST.

M.A.C has initiated this pricing restructure as a means to meet consumer demands by offering the most competitive rate.

M.A.C Cosmetics Director of Make-up Artistry Nicole Thompson says the company has listened to its customers.

“Gone are the days of listing up your besties when they head overseas with all your makeup must-haves. Now you can shop M.A.C at competitive prices locally and still have change to spare for a cocktail or two,” says Nicole.

These prices will be available online and in-store at M.A.C, David Jones, Myer, and Mecca.
