AHC launches Niacin Biome range in Australia

The global niacinamide (vitamin B3) market size was valued at US$546.1 million in 2021, and is projected to reach US$832.4 million by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 4.3% from 2022 to 2031, according to Allied Market Research.

AHC, Korea’s premier aesthetic skincare brand distributed by Chemcorp International in Australia, recently introduced its Niacin Biome range to the local market.

At the Australian launch, hosted by Eleanor Pendleton and featuring an expert panel with Dr Yumiko Kadota, Rita Sellars, and Jiny Maeng, Rita, founder and Director of pH Factor, stated that niacinamide “is the golden standard of active ingredients.”

“Its compatibility with other ingredients and safety profile makes it an all-rounder in skincare formulations,” she said.

Meanwhile, Dr Yumiko spoke about the importance of niacinamide to help lighten areas of pigmentation.

“Different types of pigmentation, such as those caused by hormones, pregnancy, and menopause, affect the skin in various ways,” she said. “Hyperpigmentation can be hormonal or due to external factors. AHC’s range targets superficial spots and also deep pigmentation. Regular use of these products, combined with professional treatments, can maintain and enhance results.”
