Tail, centre or high arched, rounded, straight, S-shaped or short and thick – brows come in all shapes and sizes.
Anastasia Soare, known by her first name only, founded Anastasia Beverly Hills in 1997 when she realised the success the ‘Golden Ratio’ had when it came to brows.
Anastasia used the mathematical principle of thirds, which had influenced centuries of art and architecture, on the human face to create aesthetic harmony, and patented the Golden Ratio Eyebrow Shaping Method.
The method was on show at the recent relaunch of Brow Genius, held at an exclusive private residence in Potts Point.
Sarah Humphries, founder and director of Sydney-based boutique agency Sarah Humphries Agency (SHAPR) spoke on behalf of Anastasia at the event.
“Anastasia believes you shouldn’t treat the brows on your face with any less love than the hair on your head,” she said.
“That’s why this new, nutrient-rich formula turns brows without definition into fuller-looking, healthier-feeling brows, managing out-of-control behaviour into conditioned, manageable brows, and reducing that wiry, coarse texture into smooth or touchable softness.”
Humphries said Anastasia first formulated her brow serum more than a decade ago, and realised that “even though it was ground-breaking at the time, it didn’t meet her standard”.
“So, she has spent the last 10 years looking at reformulating – what are the right ingredients? What is going to get the results that match the expectations of a globally successful brand?”
Humphries said Brow Genius blended six rejuvenating ingredients into one multi-benefit, smart formula.
“This multi-benefit brow serum contains a powerful roster of ingredients from peptides, panthenol and Korean ginseng to biotin and castor oil,” she said.
Celebrity makeup artist and author Nicole ‘Pinky’ Thompson held an interactive demonstration to show how the serum worked, before colour-matching guests at the event to their correct brow pencil.
