Brooke Jones from Priceline Pharmacy Firle, SA, was awarded Beauty Advisor of the Year at the Priceline Pharmacy’s National Franchise Conference.
Brooke has been instrumental in ensuring Priceline Pharmacy is a standout destination for beauty care and advice in Firle.
She coaches and develops the beauty skillsets of new team members, while also managing the store’s Instagram account.
Speaking exclusively with Retail Beauty, Brooke said she was “very grateful for the recognition, support and love I have received over my years at Priceline and this award is a testament to that”.
“I am so happy to share this win with the team in store and celebrate together,” she said.
Brooke said to be a great BA you had to be “someone who truly cares for their customers and sees them as an individual person, not a person to help them reach their KPIs”.
“A great BA gives honest advice for their customer’s specific routines, needs and wants; someone who has a passion for all things beauty and wants to share that passion with their customers,” she said.
Brooke said the best part about her job was “seeing the same smiling faces who visit me time after time, year after year and tell me how much they love the products I recommend”.
“I get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when a customer walks into the store and you can tell by their expression that they have had a bad day; but by the time the walk out of the door they are smiling again.”
Priceline Pharmacy Woonona won Priceline’s highest accolade, being crowned Store of the Year for 2021 out of more than 470 stores around Australia.
The award recognises the New South Wales store’s commercial results, exceptional customer service and participation in brand programs and initiatives, including its support for Priceline’s charity program the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation.
Franchise partners Ahmed Sawan, Bis Aly and their team pride themselves on providing an environment that feels like family for each other and their customers and the store also sponsors many local sporting clubs.
Priceline Pharmacy General Manager Andrew Vidler said: “One of the best parts of my job is recognising Priceline Pharmacy’s top performers and announcing the store in our network who most embodies our brand values. Priceline Pharmacy Woonona has become the destination for locals seeking outstanding customer experience centred around friendly, personalised care. After winning the Priceline Pharmacy Rising Star award in 2019, we knew it wouldn’t be long before they’d be on the podium again, taking out our brand’s top honour.”
Suz Forrester, Retail Manager at Woonona, was elated at the store’s win: “This is absolutely amazing. To represent Priceline is one thing, but to represent Priceline at the top level is incredible. This is a team win and I’m so stoked. I couldn’t be happier!”
National Retail Manager of the Year was awarded to joint winners Monique Galati from Priceline Pharmacy Highpoint, Vic, and April Wheeler from Priceline Pharmacy Morayfield, Qld, whose leadership skills, customer service and passion for the brand were equally outstanding.
