CeraVe has named Dylan Alcott AO as its new Australian ambassador. The four-time dual-sport Paralympic gold medallist, motivational speaker, media personality, actor, and philanthropist joins CeraVe to champion its latest campaign, highlighting the brand’s status as the “MVP” of skincare.

Dylan’s commitment to inspiring individuals of all abilities mirrors his approach to skincare. “CeraVe is the real MVP of Skincare – simple, effective, affordable, and accessible for all, developed with dermatologists for all skin types. The products do what they say they will do, and my skin thanks me for it! I am pumped to have joined the CeraVe family as an ambassador,” Dylan said.

Penelope Thornett, Managing Director of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, which includes CeraVe, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe is focused on providing easy and effective skincare for all. We are proud to join forces with Dylan to drive awareness of how Australians can incorporate a simple skincare routine into their daily lives.”

CeraVe offers a diverse range of products, including cleansers, moisturisers, and serums for both face and body. Renowned for their formulation with three essential skin-identical ceramides, CeraVe products support and maintain a healthy skin barrier and feature MultiVesicular Emulsion (MVE) Delivery Technology for up to 24-hour hydration.

Leading dermatologist Dr Ryan De Cruz emphasised the importance of choosing skincare with scientifically proven ingredients. “When selecting skincare, avoid fragrances, soaps, and exfoliants that dry the skin out. Instead, focus on products rich in ceramides and hyaluronic acid to strengthen your skin barrier and increase moisture levels, especially during colder temperatures in Australia.”

As part of his ambassador role, Alcott joins Dr Ryan De Cruz and TikTok-famous comedian Millie Ford in CeraVe’s winter campaign. The campaign airs on 9Now and Kayo during the NRL Ampol State of Origin.

CeraVe, in partnership with NRL sponsor and stockist Chemist Warehouse, will feature dedicated pop-ups at each NRL game, allowing rugby league fans to learn more about skincare and try the products.
