“As the premier pharmacy event of the year, I encourage delegates to book early and take advantage of the Early Bird registration offer to ensure they get the best deal possible,” said Mr Sclavos.

Mr Sclavos shared that coming out of a year of significant positive change for the community pharmacy industry, APP2025 is not a conference to be missed and the theme perfectly sets the tone for what the industry can expect in 2025.

“The conference theme, ‘unlocking your opportunities,’ perfectly encompasses the tone for 2025,” remarked Mr Sclavos. “2024 saw significant change in community pharmacy, including the signing of the 8CPA and commencement of trials and pilots across Australia allowing community pharmacists to practise to their full scope.”

Mr Sclavos went on to say that “2025 will be about making the most off the opportunities coming out of these changes and exploring the future of community pharmacy. What better way to be at the forefront than to attend the largest pharmacy conference in the southern hemisphere!”

APP is the largest pharmacy conference and trade exhibition in the southern hemisphere, attracting up to 7,000 Australian and international delegates each year. APP is The Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s flagship event, and the conference’s focus on new topics and latest innovations have made it an industry favourite.

The conference offers a three-day education program plus pre-conference workshops, more than 450 stand trade exhibitions, and exciting social functions. As planning continues, the conference program will be made available in November.
