One luxury cosmeceutical skincare brand is specifically addressing the unique concerns of patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
iS Clinical has launched its Harmony Facial, which was developed with cancer patients in mind, using essential vitamins, potent antioxidants, and curative hydrators to directly address some of the physical challenges triggered because of cancer treatments.
Dr Charlene DeHaven, iS Clinical’s Clinical Director, said: “The Harmony Facial works to reveal brighter skin tone, while restoring vibrancy and resilience to the skin using a combination of clinically proven, yet ultra-gentle ingredients. From treating the appearance of scar tissue, to soothing dry, cracked, and irritated skin, and reducing the appearance of dark circles and under eye puffiness, this powerful yet gentle treatment is guaranteed to leave a lasting glow.”
The Harmony Facial forms the first of the company’s move to bring its iS Cancer Cares program Down Under.
The products in the range are results-driven, clinically proven, luxury pharma-grade ‘active’ cosmeceuticals with 95- 98 per cent of ingredients derived from botanicals.
“For those who may be undergoing treatment for cancer, the Harmony Facial also combines gentle hand and arm massage to relax and restore, using a technique which has been shown to reduce pain, fatigue and lymphedema, the swelling in arms and legs cancer patients sometimes experience due to fluid build-up in the lymphatic system,” Dr DeHaven said.
To launch the iS Cancer Care Program, media and influencers were invited to be one of the first to experience the Harmony Facial to coincide with Daffodil Day, held on August 25.
The Daffodil Day Appeal is the Cancer Council’s most iconic and much-loved fundraising campaign.
iS Clinical donated $130 for each media appointment that was performed at Lumière Cosmetic Clinic to the cancer fundraising appeal.
