One of Korea’s leading luxury beauty brand, Sulwhasoo, has launched into Sephora Australia and New Zealand.
Created in 1966, Sulwhasoo draws on Korean medicine for its formulations, combining precious medicinal herbs and ancient ingredients with modern skin science technologies.
Back in 1973, Sulwhasoo was the first beauty brand to use Korean ginseng in skincare.
Based on eastern philosophy, Sulwhasoo looks deeply into the changes women experience every seven years of life and aims to create anti-ageing skincare products that promote harmony and balance of the skin.
Caroline Dunlop, president of Amorepacific Australia said the company was “beyond thrilled to finally be bringing Sulwhasoo into Australia and New Zealand”.
“There has been significant demand for this highly regarded brand as the Australian and New Zealand consumer becomes more aware of the efficacy of its precious ingredients and a desire to use expertly crafted skincare with centuries-old medicinal properties,” she said.
Sulwhasoo’s best-selling product, Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum, currently sells one product every 10 seconds in Korea.
An icon for more than 20 years, the serum is designed to activate and boost the radiance of the skin while increasing absorption, usage and the results of subsequent skincare products.
It is made from a Jaum balancing complex which includes lotus, rehmannia, peony, solomon’s seal and white lily and costs $112.
