The Liptember Foundation, in partnership with Chemist Warehouse, has announced a record-breaking $2.1 million raised through the 2024 Liptember campaign to support women’s mental health across Australia. Now in its 15th year, the annual campaign, held each September, encourages Australians to spark conversations about mental health by wearing a brightly coloured Liptember lipstick, exclusively sold at Chemist Warehouse.

Since its founding in 2010, Liptember has become a leading voice in women’s mental health advocacy, funding diverse initiatives aimed at improving mental health outcomes for women. This year’s funds will support five critical areas highlighted by Liptember’s national research: promoting help-seeking behaviour, reducing barriers to support, advancing gender-specific research, supporting Indigenous young women, and advocating for policy reform.

Liptember Founder Luke Morris expressed gratitude for the campaign’s continued success, stating, “The support we receive each year is incredible, and 2024 has been no exception. These funds will enable us to expand our efforts in addressing the unique mental health challenges women face. We’re deeply thankful for Chemist Warehouse’s commitment as our Premier Partner in this mission.”

Chemist Warehouse Executive Director Mario Tascone added, “As the house of wellness, we’re proud to support Liptember’s impactful work in women’s mental health. Together, we hope to empower women across Australia to seek the support they need.”
