Since Mecca opened its impressive four-level, 1800 square metre flagship store just two years ago in Sydney’s CDB, consumers’ shopping habits have changed.
Post Covid-19, customers are after an elevated shopper experience when they come into a store.
This is just one of the reasons why the beauty giant’s partnership with hair agency EdwardsAndCo has been so successful.
Launching as a blow dry bar in 2021 on the basement level, the space has gone from strength to strength and “levelled-up” with Mecca Manes recently launching as a launching as a full spectrum hair concept.
Now housed on level one, the salon now offers full colour, cut and styling services, inline with the full EdwardsAndCo menu.
Speaking exclusively with Retail Beauty, Ash Del, Manager and Lead Stylist Edwards & Co at Mecca, said the full-service salon had so far been huge with the customers.
“Since switching to full spectrum salon from the blow bar, we have been in high demand. Customers love the intimate experience and being able to bring the full Edwards & Co experience to Mecca.”
Ash said the location has been ideal for local services for consumers working or commuting to Sydney’s CBD.
“Future proof / lived-in colour is still the highest requested colour service for our talented team,” she said. “That trend is predicted to stay hot during summer.”
