Me Today, the New Zealand health and wellness brand, was founded in 2018 by Michael Kerr, Stephen Sinclair and Grant Baker. The trio have extensive experience in the health and beauty space through their involvement with well-known brands, Ecoya and Trilogy. Kerr was also instrumental in building the Swisse brand in New Zealand and was the general manager of Trilogy.
Me Today’s main retail partner on its home turf is Green Cross Health, including the Unichem and Life Pharmacy networks. The company offers 17 supplements, including Protect to fortify the immune system and Cranberry 30000 for urinary tract health.
Natural and botanic skincare is also a major part of the business, starting with four serums – Renew A Serum, Glow C Serum, Bounce B5 Serum and Purify B3 Serum. Two facial oils – Miracle Facial Oil and Organic Rosehip Oil – complement the 8 SKU Women’s Daily Skincare lineup, including Micellar Gel and Night Cream.
In Australia, Me Today has inked an agreement with Adore Beauty, the leading beauty e-tailer, to roll out a selected range of supplements and skincare in the last quarter of the year.
The company has also signed a distributor deal with MASH Beauty Lab in Japan to launch through Biople by CosmeKitchen, a retail chain owned by MASH, in October. Me Today will, also develop 10 supplements and skincare products exclusive to the Japanese market.
European expansion will be spearheaded in Ireland. Me Today has teamed with Uniphar Wholesale, which acquired Hickey’s, Ireland’s largest family-owned pharmacy chain, last year. Uniphar also operates the Allcare and Life pharmacies in Ireland and has a national network of 335 stores. The rollout will begin in September.
