In beauty terms, dupe products are a selection of affordable products that are comparable alternatives to their higher-end, and more expensive cousins.
For the first time, Priceline Pharmacy showcased its well-known range of dupes to more than 180 media and influencers at its signature health and beauty tradeshow event The Beauty Prescription Live in Sydney.
Priceline Pharmacy General Manager Andrew Vidler said the company was thrilled to bring some of the very best products from the world’s leading health and beauty brands to its customers.
“You don’t need to spend a lot of money to look good and feel great,” he said.
“Consumers are increasingly recognising the positive impacts of self-care and self-pampering on their wellbeing. We want people to be able to access high-quality, great value products that work, and these products are the best of the best.”
On show at the event were the latest products from 55 brands, including 16 exclusives to the pharmacy chain.
Mr Vidler said Priceline Pharmacy was looking towards a post-pandemic future and was excited for what’s ahead for the brand.
“Our stores are seeing a return to normal shopping conditions with some great results, which is testament to the strength and resilience of the brand, our stores and our team members across the network. This enables us to stay ahead of consumer trends and grow our stable of exclusive, high-quality and affordable luxury brands for the future.”
Mr Vidler said Priceline was deepening its commitment to sustainability and emphasis on working with brands that shared this approach. “This is something we are truly passionate about and we’ll be introducing our own take on conscious beauty soon, allowing us to bring together the finest brands that meet the highest set of standards in this space.”
Priceline Ambassadors Ita Buttrose, Tanya Hennessy and Olivia Rogers, and Hair & Makeup Director Sarah Laidlaw also highlighted their favourite products, and shared their own health and beauty journeys with the audience.
Priceline Pharmacy announced exclusive key launches, including period vitamins The Fix, Hey Bud’s skincare range, haircare brand Georgiemane and e.l.f Cosmetics’ new foundation range, Camo.
Beauty brand founders at the event included Lynda Chapman from The KIND Collective, Lizzie Waley from Sundae, Elizabeth Barbalich of Antipodes and Karen Murrell from Karen Murrell.
Priceline had its own brand Models Prefer on show, featuring its new and exclusive product, the Wonder Brow Lamination Gel.
