Retail Beauty is excited to announce the appointment of Danielle Hill as the new Director of Brand Partnerships. With over 30 years of experience in high-performance retail, Danielle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Her extensive background includes managing business operations, sales, marketing, merchandising management, team building, and training. Known for her ability to develop and implement strategic training initiatives, workshops, plans, and projects that surpass operational, brand, and sales goals, Danielle is a perfect fit for this new role.
Danielle’s impressive career spans several prestigious roles. She served as ASM – Duty Store Manager at the Myer Flagship Store in Melbourne, and held the position of Store Director at Sephora USA for 12 years, becoming the first Store Director at Sephora Australia. She also worked as a Business Partner for Valiram, overseeing brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade.
Reflecting on her journey, Danielle shared, “I’m ecstatic about all the valuable skills I’ve acquired throughout my career, which I’ll now get to apply to my new role. Building great partnerships with brands is not only crucial but also incredibly fun! Understanding their needs and translating that into action has always been a passion of mine. I’m thrilled to continue nurturing brands, reigniting their potential, and driving their vision forward in my new role.”
Her passion for the industry is evident. “For over 20 years, I’ve been fortunate to pursue my passion and receive incredible training from industry leaders such as Michael Edwards, Ole Henriksen, Dr. Brandt, and Perricone MD. Being able to learn and grow in something I love makes every day exciting, and I’m grateful for the opportunities to train under such remarkable individuals in the retail and beauty industry,” Danielle remarked.
Danielle’s vision for her new role at Retail Beauty is clear and ambitious. “This year, my objective in collaborating with Retail Beauty is to establish a comprehensive and secure platform for brands, brand owners, and brand partnerships. We aim to provide consulting services that deliver optimal results and effectively realise your brand’s vision and objectives, ultimately contributing to the success of all involved parties. I want to see brands launch successfully and celebrate their growth and aspirations,” she explained.
Beyond her professional achievements, Danielle is a proud mother to her daughter, Trinity, and pets, including a 13-kilo American Staff named Leonidas and a glamorous black cat named Bear. She shared, “I’m such a fashionista! I absolutely adore everything about fashion. Hunting for bargains, exploring vibrant markets, and discovering the most delectable foods and cheeses is a thrilling experience for me. I am a passionate foodie and love experimenting in the kitchen. Besides, I’m a proud mama to my daughter and also to my furry little angels – two cats and my big boy (puppy). My days are a whirlwind of horror movies, creating culinary masterpieces, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends.”
