As NSW and Victoria release details of their paths out of lockdown, WA looked like another country on Saturday as 61,000 fans packed into Perth Stadium for the 2021 AFL Grand Final.
Westralians are living life as normal and we recently reported on the opening of Stage One of Perth’s revamped Karrinyup Shopping Centre, the second largest in WA after Westfield Carousel, in early August. The $800 million project is the largest redevelopment of a shopping centre in Australia.
The first Sephora location in WA will open its doors in Karrinyup on October 7th. New fashion and lifestyle retailers will also come on board in The Loop on Level 1, followed by dining and entertainment venues at The West Deck on October 28th.
We are thrilled that Sephora will be opening Perth’s first store at the new look Karrinyup, said Scott Nugent, AMP Capital’s Divisional Investment & Development Manager. “We know our customers are looking for a retail experience they won’t find anywhere else and welcoming Sephora has been key to cementing Karrinyup as a retail destination of choice.”
The French specialist beauty chain debuted its first Australian store in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall in 2015. The Perth opening will take its number of stores in Australia and New Zealand to 24 – in addition to nine in NSW, four in Queensland, one in South Australia, six in Victoria and three in New Zealand.
Perth’s store opening has been years in the making and is our most requested location, revealed Beth Glancey, General Manager of Sephora Australia and New Zealand. “Over the past six years we have been building up our beauty community in Perth, delivering the best brands and new launches via our e-commerce platform and searching for the perfect brick-and-mortar location, and this Karrinyup store is it.
“Until now our Perth clients have had to buy before they try, but not for much longer. We can’t wait for them to experience life inside a Sephora store – for beauty services, self-discovery, better brows and clean beauty.”
