To mark International Women’s Day, held on Tuesday, March 8, OPI Australia worked with Collingwood AFLW superstar, Sabrina Frederick, LGBTQIA+ Advocate and Model, Riley Minford, and Sustainable Olive Farmer, Sam Meron to create the What’s Your Colour campaign. A content piece that breaks down outdated gender and societal stereotypes through encouraging everyone to express themselves through colour.
Directed by Australian Director and the creator of TALL Poppy: A Skater’s Story, Justine Moyle, the content draws on women excelling outside of non-traditional gender roles with the aim of reflecting what REAL women look like.
“The importance of representation can’t be underestimated, and we must showcase the voices that accurately embody ALL kinds of women. I want to give young girls the opportunity to be like Sabrina, Riley, and Sam when they grow up because they see themselves reflected in these colourful and charismatic personalities,” says Justine.
