The pandemic has led to an increased interest in health and wellness practices, including yoga. With many people spending more time at home and looking for ways to manage stress and anxiety, yoga has become a popular option.
The pandemic has also created a renewed interest in self-care and holistic health practices.
Created in response to the hardship experienced around the world during the global pandemic and the lessons learnt during this period surrounding the importance of self-care, Yoga Beauty is intended to ground, realign, harmonise and calm the body and mind whilst providing a luxurious, premium and effective product experience.
Yoga Beauty founder Cherie said during the lockdowns she started daily online yoga classes.
“There was a need to dilute the ‘noise’ around me, predicting doom and gloom and continual reminders of the many risks in the current environment,” she said.
“During one of these video classes, the instructor reminded us to create an ambience by burning a candle or using a diffuser with essential oils. It got me thinking and after much research, I found very little in the skincare market related to self-care.”
The Australian-made, holistic lifestyle and beauty range recently launched online at www.yogabeauty.com.au with specialty products designed to incorporate a yoga-style mindset into a person’s daily routine.
“The Pigeon pose is known to make you feel refreshed, so why not use a product that makes you feel exactly as the Pigeon pose does – refreshed and revitalised and link it to that pose,” Cherie said.
To celebrate the launch, Bernadette Fahey from Body by Berner hosted a vinyasa flow class, followed by breakfast where guests were introduced to the eight piece range.
Inspired by the practice of yoga, each product is reflective of a distinctive yoga pose, with the packaging showcasing this pose and the key benefits associated – a first for the Australian market.
The new self-care range harnesses a signature Yoga Beauty fragrance and natural ingredients while being vegan and free from parabens, SLS and synthetic fragrances.
The Yoga Beauty range is enriched with a hero ingredient, Seabuckthorn Oil.
Seabuckthorn oil is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids that can benefit the skin, hair, and overall health. It contains high levels of vitamin C, which can help boost the immune system and promote collagen production in the skin. It also contains vitamin E, which is known for its antioxidant properties and ability to protect the skin from free radical damage.
The nutrient-dense Seabuckthorn Oil contains four essential fatty acids (Omegas 3,6, 9 and 7) which provide key building blocks for the skin, hair and nails while being known to combat dryness, the loss of skin elasticity and fight other aesthetic symptoms of ageing and skin damage.
