Allies of Skin, the Singapore-based skincare brand available at Mecca in Australia, has successfully closed a strategic growth investment of US$20 million ($30.8 million) with Meaningful Partners LLC, marking a major milestone in the brand’s global expansion efforts.
This collaboration aims to significantly bolster Allies of Skin’s foray into the US market, enhancing its digital and physical retail footprint, amplifying marketing endeavours, advancing product innovation, and establishing a robust team in the US.
Since its inception in 2016 by Nicolas Travis, Allies of Skin has rapidly ascended to international acclaim. From its humble beginnings with just three pioneering products, the brand has evolved into a comprehensive skincare line, renowned for harnessing high concentrations of clinically-verified actives.
Endorsed by a host of celebrities and skincare professionals worldwide, and an early investment by actor Henry Golding, Allies of Skin’s offerings are now a staple in over 36 countries and across more than 40 retail partners, including Mecca in Australia and high-profile stores like Space NK, Sephora, Dermstore, and Cult Beauty, spanning over 800 retail outlets globally.
Nicolas expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership with Meaningful Partners, citing a shared commitment to brand vision and growth.
