Blow Bar Co has launched another stylish blow dry bar in the newly refurbished David Jones Elizabeth St flagship store.
The 90sqm blow dry bar, situated on the second floor amongst women’s fashion, overlooks Sydney’s picturesque Hyde Park.
The announcement marks the first Blow Bar Co store to open in David Jones and complements the current portfolio of Blow Bar Co venues in Sydney’s residential areas of Balmain, Waverley and Coogee (inside the Coogee Pavilion, in partnership with Merivale).
David Jones general manager of beauty, Rachel Duffy-Packer, said the partnership delivered “an exciting and experiential new offering within our stable of the world’s most coveted beauty brands and services”.
“We are delighted to welcome Blow Bar Co to Level 2 of the David Jones Elizabeth Street flagship,” she said.
“Blow Bar Co is a truly innovative proposition and one we believe will resonate with David Jones customers.”
Blow Bar Co founder and director Leigh Dole, said the concept took two years from inception to launch and she was “delighted to partner with Australia’s most iconic department store to launch Blow Bar Co CBD”.
“As both brands strive to deliver an unrivalled retail experience, this partnership is a wonderful way to increase our brand footprint into Sydney’s CBD while offering the David Jones customer a place to enjoy a blow-on-the-go between meetings, or a retreat for those enjoying a leisurely day out with friends,” she said.
Now in its fifth year of operation, the Blow Bar Co menu includes services such as: blow dry, up-style, make-up, cocktails, champagne and canapés.
In addition, the blow dry bar will continue to offer a range of tutorials as well as on-location shoots and private events.
Blow Bar Co opened to the public on Saturday, October 17.
