BOA (Business Owners App) will take its next in-person networking initiative on the road this Friday, 4 April, with a one-day mobile mentorship event designed to support emerging entrepreneurs.

Dubbed the BOA Bus, the event offers early-stage business owners the opportunity to meet and receive practical advice from nine established founders while touring Sydney’s key landmarks. Participants will benefit from 1:1 conversations and focused networking in a more relaxed, informal setting.

The mentor line-up includes founders from well-known Australian brands such as Finder.com, Swiish, TBH Skincare, Hero Packaging, Hive HQ, Rivyl, Ecommerce Equation, and RealBase. BOA founder Daniel Hakim will also join the tour, sharing insights from his experience building both BOA and the Club of United Business (CUB), which has grown to over 2,000 members across major cities.

“As a modern, innovative platform we are all about turning traditional networking on its head to deliver meaningful connections and collaborations that are transformative for every business owner no matter what stage their business is in,” Hakim said. “The BOA bus represents BOA’s high energy, extraordinary, aim-for-the-stars mentality where business owners can benefit from real-time advice from those who’ve been there.”

Launched in 2023, BOA complements CUB’s member offering by focusing on early-stage founders, helping them build networks through digital tools, events, and tailored content. To date, BOA has hosted hundreds of events across Australia featuring respected speakers and business leaders.

  • Jeremy Cabral (Finder.com)
  • Sally Obermeder (Swiish)
  • Rachael Wilde (TBH Skincare)

It will be where the next biggest business success story will begin.

“We want to encourage entrepreneurs to hop onto new opportunities like this, pivot when needed, and keep the momentum going at all times. We can’t wait to meet the winners to explore their ideas and help them bring their business dreams to life.”

How to get on the BOA bus:

  • Aspiring business owners are invited to apply by joining the BOA app waitlist and email events@boa.app with the title “BOA Bus”
  • Winners are to submit 6 business questions of their choice to give their mentors a chance to prepare for the bus session.
