CeraVe hosted a special edition of #SkinChat live-streamed on social media, focusing on winter skin goals and its Hall of Fame-worthy products and MVP ingredients.

Hosted by television and travel presenter Lauren Philips, participants included former professional rugby league footballer Casey Conway, who is now the NRL’s manager for diversity and inclusion, Charlotte Emily Caslick OAM, an Australian professional representative and Olympic level rugby union player, specialist dermatologist Dr Ryan De Cruz and Dr Sarah Tranter,  a cosmetic physician practicing in Byron Bay.

The event, held at Allianz Stadium, coincided with week two of three of the 2023 Ampol State of Origin Series, where the Maroons beat the Blues 32-6 at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.

Lauren explained that the L’Oréal-owned brand and Chemist Warehouse had partnered together to create a pop-up locker room at the  Brisbane and Sydney NRL State of Origin games.

During the event, the panellists engaged in a discussion about skincare tips and solutions to maintain healthy and nourished skin during the winter season.

The #SkinChat event covered various topics related to winter skincare concerns, such as dryness, sensitivity, and dehydration and can be watched online here.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share personal experiences, and learn from the panel of skincare experts and enthusiasts.

The guests shared tips on how to combat the effects of cold weather on the skin, including the importance of proper hydration, gentle cleansing routines, and moisturisation techniques.

“Winter often leads to dehydration of the skin, which is why moisturisers that are rich in ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid are ideal for managing your skin during the winter months,” Dr De Cruz said.

The Chemist Warehouse x CeraVe Locker Room will be held at Accor Stadium, Sydney for Game III on July 12 where CeraVe cheerleaders will be handing out samples of the  Moisturising Lotion and Moisturising Cream.
