Renowned beauty entrepreneur and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury MBE is set to be honoured with a Special Recognition Award at The Fashion Awards 2023, organised by the British Fashion Council (BFC). The prestigious award acknowledges Tilbury’s groundbreaking contributions to the fashion and beauty industry, particularly her visionary approach to beauty that has influenced global trends and reshaped the industry.

As the Founder of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, Tilbury’s remarkable career has seen her work featured on over 180 magazine covers and in more than 600 campaigns. Her brand, operating in 54 global markets, has garnered over 700 awards. Recognised with an MBE in 2018 for services to the beauty and cosmetics industry, Tilbury is committed to empowering confidence and actively supports charitable causes.

Tilbury said in a statement: “It is such a huge honour to receive a Special Recognition Award for contributions to fashion, from the British Fashion Council. Britain is a trailblazer in fashion, so inspiring, innovative, and dynamic. I am so grateful to have worked with some of the greatest creative geniuses in the fashion world, from photographers to designers, editors, stylists, icons, and models to create pure beauty magic.

“From my earliest days working as a make-up artist on shows and editorial, I have seen for myself the transformative power of makeup to help everyone feel and look like their most confident selves, and it has been the honour of my life to share that mission with the world through my brand. I truly believe that when you feel your most confident you can change the world.”

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 4th at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, where Tilbury will be celebrated for her outstanding impact on the fashion and beauty landscape.

Meanwhile, in a local festive celebration of her brand’s exclusive holiday collection, Charlotte Tilbury hosted a Club Magic-themed party at The Avenue in Darlinghurst. The event attracted guests dressed in glamorous attire, who posed next to a large replica of Tilbury’s signature beauty advent calendar.

The party ambiance was set to the beats of DJ Helena Ellis, with champagne jelly shots served by waitresses adorned with dancing disco ball heads.Guests enjoyed a meticulously curated cocktail menu featuring custom beverages personally selected by Charlotte Tilbury.

Highlighting the holiday collection, drinks such as the “Glow On The Go” spicy margarita and “The Beautyverse” added to the festive spirit. Maria Pimenta, Charlotte Tilbury PR Manager – Europe & Australia, made a special appearance, adding to the excitement of the evening.
