Cosmetic Executive Women USA (CEW) celebrated “the most interesting, impressive and noteworthy indies” of 2019.

The awards coincided with CEW’s 65th anniversary and honoured 65 independent beauty businesses ranging from $1 million to $1 billion in size. Companies ranged from Charlotte Tilbury to Huda Beauty to Yuni Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics and Drunk Elephant.

CEW has taken note of the rapid pace in which indie brands are growing, which led to the inception of the Indie65 Awards.

The list of brands was curated by an advisory board comprising CEW board members and additional key industry stakeholders such as retailers and financial advisors, CEW explains.
