The event was hosted by astrophysics expert Kirsten Banks, a proud Wiradjuri woman with an undeniable passion for all things space and astronomy, who guided guests through the night sky, creating an immerse, interactive experience to highlight  the inspiration for the collection.

Ludovic Dellazzeri, managing director ghd Australia and New Zealand (Coty Professional Beauty), was unable to attend the event due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, but addressed the seated guests via teleconference.

“I’m  so  sorry I can’t be with you, but 2002 has been an interesting year  and one that has been full of challenges for many of us,” he said.

“It might seem a little unusual to be getting together now but Christmas is all about togetherness. It is so lovely to see you all get together and celebrate the start of the festive season with us.”
