In a prestigious celebration of global innovation, the Global Beauty & Wellness Awards recently acknowledged 27 winners and 45 finalists from the beauty and wellness sectors worldwide. With an impressive 500 nominations spanning five continents, the awards underscored excellence and innovation at its finest.

Rejuvaus took the spotlight in the cosmetics industry, securing three notable awards: Best Designed Packaging Product (Special Award), Best Ingredient Hygiene Product, and was a finalist for Best Ingredient Anti-Ageing Product.

Nu Skin, a standout, not only earned recognition for its cosmetic products but also reached the finals with a cutting-edge beauty device.

Algotherm‘s two products claimed victory in the Best Emerging Cosmetic Product category, with two others securing finalist positions. Ecowell made a remarkable debut, securing four victories, including awards in Best Organic & Natural Suncare and Hygiene products, while also securing finalist spots in Best Organic & Natural Baby Skin Product and Best Organic & Natural Hair Product categories.

Continuing its triumphant streak, the German skincare brand Dr Tonar received accolades for the third consecutive year in the Best Ingredient Anti-Ageing Product, Best Ingredient Facial Product, and Best Ingredient Eye Product categories.

In an exclusive interview with Retail Beauty, Dr Garry Cussell, founder of Rejuvaus, expressed his pride in receiving the Best Designed Packaging Product award for the Rejuvaus Repair & Refine ABC Serum.

“In line with our desire for sustainability, the packaging is recyclable and refillable,” he emphasised. Dr Cussell highlighted the importance of accurate dispensing from an airless and lightproof micro-nozzle dispensing pump, ensuring maximum activity and effectiveness of the ingredients.

Speaking further about the Best Ingredient Hygiene Product win for the Rejuvaus Deep Exfoliating AHA Cleanser, Dr. Cussell explained that the formulation was carefully crafted for deep cleansing without drying. He emphasised the activated charcoal’s role in extracting entrapped oil from pores, leaving the skin clean and hydrated without dryness. The product is free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances, and pigments.

Regarding the Rejuvaus Repair & Refine ABC Serum, a finalist for Best Ingredient Anti-Aging Product, Dr Cussell described it as “one of our hero products,” expressing pride in combining 33 potent and well-tolerated active ingredients. He highlighted the avoidance of occlusive skin-blocking ingredients and the slow-release encapsulation of powerful components for maximum efficacy.
