Harrods, London – the world’s most famous department store – has opened its doors in 2020 with a luxe new offering: Australia’s cult brow brand Amy Jean Privée retail range. What a coup for the Australian beauty industry.

“Harrods only stock the world’s very best products, so it’s a true privilege for the Amy Jean Privée Collection to be selected,” says founder and director, Amy Jean Linnehan.

“It’s a dream come true to see my brand in this iconic Knightsbridge (London) store.”

With an engaged cult following in Australia and a growing fan base around the world, Amy Jean is well and truly living up to her marque as ‘International Brow Queen’.

“Although I’m best known for the celebrity brows I tend to, I actually developed the Amy Jean Privée Collection for all style savvy women,” she says.

“The products are fuss free and foolproof – they’re game changing for the time poor and an absolute lifesaver for women who feel artistically challenge when it comes to doing their makeup”.

Amy Jean tells esprit…

Thrilled with my very own paid  for Amy Jean Mist Brow Tattoo treatment I was eager to hear how this retail super-goal was achieved. The effervescent AJ spilled all the beans as I lay back on the treatment bed during my one-month-in follow-up appointment.

“I spent many visits to London working with clients during the day and heading to Harrods at night to map out and manifest the brand’s presence. It sounds funny but I’m a sincere believer in this.

“I was also very fortunate that a British beauty editor, who was incredibly smitten with my range, suggested I meet the Harrods buyers. She then looped us all in…the rest is history.

“Harrods are stocking the entire Amy Jean Privée Collection including our brow makeup brushes, brow powders, pencils, highlighters, tweezers and mascara. It’s in a beauty area dedicated to hand-picked speciality brands from around the globe. The area is called The Powder Room.”

Amy Jean is well known for signature services

Fifteen years after opening her first salon in Sydney, Amy Jean is best known for several signature treatments, which include Mist Brow Tattoo (semi-permanent airbrushed brows), Keratin Lash Elevate (semi-permanent lash curling), Kiss Me Lip-Tint Tattoo (a fuller pout without fillers), and the enduringly popular Henna Brows treatment for an ultra-natural brow defining finish.

A pioneer in the Australian brow industry, Amy Jean’s latest semi-permanent treatment, Keratin Brow Lamination, has been enthusiasticallyembraced for the glossy, just-combed effect it creates.

“It’s no exaggeration to say that a defined brow can absolutely change your whole look so use it your advantage,” says Amy Jean. “I want to give women the world over the power of self-confidence that beautiful brows can bring because, when you feel good, the world smiles with you.” Brow Queen, Amy Jean – Amy Jean Brow Agency.

She pioneered ‘feather touch brow tattoo’ in Australia eight years ago (also known as ‘microblading’) and is now considered one of the best in the world.  Amy Jean’s newest treatments include ‘brow blend tattoo’ a combination of traditional microblading at the start of the brow and their signature ‘mist’ brow tattoo technique through the body, arch and tail of the brow.

Amy Jean has six salons throughout Australia with international pop up salons in London, Paris, Milan, New York and LA and launched her all new luxury range of products – Amy Jean Privée Collection on luxury e-tailer, Net-a-Porter last year.
