Director of Global Artistry at Morphe, Nicole Faulkner, hosted a Morphe makeup brush-along event for media and influencers.
Nicole, aka Lipsticknick, hosted the event from her hometown of Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old makeup artist, known for her work on RuPaul’s Drag Race (2009), Chillerama (2011) and Washed (2014), showcased the new Holiday Capulse and Madison Beer Collection for the virtual makeup masterclass.
Nicole, who boasts 960k followers on Instagram, demonstrated how to achieve the perfect cut crease with smoky liner , perfect for the upcoming party season.
“I’m very excited to spend some time with you guys and do a little makeup together,” she said.
“I’m excited to share with you our newest collection. I’m going to walk you through this entire cut crease with smoky liner and we’re also going to play with some of the new formulas in the palettes.”
Nicole said 2020 had been “the weirdest year ever” and that the new collection was a reminder to take care of herself.
“I miss getting ready and that whole feeling of getting glam,” she said.
“This collection to me really represents that. It feels very holiday, and it has lots of gold and glitzy colours.”
Nicole used the 35XO Natural Flirt Artistry Palette to complete the plum, smoky eye look, before finishing off with false lashes and the new Make It Big Volumizing Mascara, which comes with a blue lash primer to make the lashes appear extra black.
