L’Occitane Travel Retail has launched a mega pop-up at Sydney Airport featuring its Brazilian-inspired beauty brand, Sol de Janeiro. The activation highlights the Delícia Drench body care range, including the new Delícia Drench Shower Oil and Delícia Drench Jet Set. The event, running until 10 April in collaboration with Heinemann Oceania, offers travellers an interactive experience with the brand’s latest products.

The pop-up, located at T1 Departures, presents large-scale versions of Sol de Janeiro’s signature body creams and a display featuring the brand’s yellow and deep purple tones. A promotional message at the site reads: Be in touch. Be delicious. Satisfy your skin’s craving for deep moisture.

The Delícia Drench range includes the Delícia Drench Jet Set, a travel-sized set with Delícia Shower Oil (90ml), Delícia Drench Body Butter (50ml), and Cheirosa 59 Perfume Mist (30ml). The new Delícia Drench Shower Oil is an oil-to-milk cleanser formulated with Bacuri Butter, Copaiba Oil, and Passionflower Seed Oil. Other products featured at the pop-up include the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist, and Jet Sets from the Bum Bum, Beija Flor, and Bom Dia Bright collections.

Travellers can sample Sol de Janeiro’s fragrances, including the Cheirosa 59 Perfume Mist, which combines velvet plum, sugared violet, vanilla orchid, and whipped amber. The Delícia Drench Body Butter is also available, formulated to provide hydration and a light fragrance.

Marion Amirouche, Brand Manager of Sol de Janeiro, Global Travel Retail at L’Occitane Group, said the pop-up gives travellers the chance to explore the brand’s newest products. L’Occitane Travel Retail is expanding in the Asia Pacific region with support from Heinemann.

Sol de Janeiro, named after the Brazilian sun, promotes a body-positive approach to beauty. The brand has gained popularity among Millennials and Gen Z consumers. Its presence in travel retail continues to grow, with its products available at airports, onboard flights, and on cruise ships.
