Abundant Natural Health has held the official launch of their Magnesium Body Range.
The media breakfast briefing at The Butler in Sydney’s Potts Point was an introduction to the new products – Magnesium Gel and Magnesium Spray.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics has found that one in three Australians over the age of two do not meet their magnesium requirements. While magnesium can be ingested, it works best when applied to the skin.
The Abundant Natural Health Magnesium Spray and Gel both provide topical magnesium that helps to keep blood pressure healthy, accelerates muscle recovery, reduces soreness and cramping and aids sleep.
It employs the benefits of cucumber extracts which allows the magnesium to penetrate deep into the bloodstream and leave the skin soothed and hydrated.
The extract is sourced from the company’s own greenhouse where CEO Tony Crimmins says the seeds and fluid are separated from “the juice of pregnant cucumbers”.
“This fluid is full of life giving chemicals,” says Crimmins.
Abundant Natural Health is a brand that is ecologically focused and works to utilise waste in every way possible. Crimmins began his career as an environmental engineer and considers ‘science with nature’ as the critical factor behind their success.
“Abundant Natural Health is a pain relief company that is moving away from big pharmaceutical that use one chemical to approach a condition. At Abundant we believe in an array of natural chemicals that approach the problem,” says Crimmins.
The brand is leading the world in low carbon emission magnesium production and uses recycled brines discarded by sea-salt producers to extract high purity magnesium.
Although magnesium is commonly used by those who suffer from sore muscles after physical activity, it can help a myriad of other health and wellness problems.
Brand Ambassador Caroline Groth uses Abundant Natural Health products to encourage gut health and assist with the relief of bloating.
At first, Groth admitted to being sceptical about topical magnesium products after having experienced poor outcomes from magnesium products in the past. However, the health-conscious influencer was hesitant, but persuaded by the scientific results.
“I am incredibly sensitive to what I put in, and on, my body, and whatever it is, it has to be natural. I do use the products for muscle soreness but I have found both the gel and the spray also help with bloating and gut health,” says Groth.
Groth shared her recent struggles with fatigue and mental health, where she was so fatigued that she couldn’t get out of bed. After medical professionals failed to identity a diagnosis, she went on a mission to find her own.
The solution came from the book Eat Dirt: Why Leaky Gut May Be the Root Cause of Your Health Problems and 5 Surprising Steps to Cure It by Josh Axe. It was a pivotal find.
“From this book I built my own protocol and my gut and mental health took a turn. I was found to be extremely low in magnesium and told to take magnesium baths and eat magnesium-rich foods – no one said use magnesium on my skin.
“Being introduced to Abundant Health’s Magnesium range applied topically I found instant relief since it penetrates through the dermis for immediate results. It even helps my period pains and headaches. I genuinely love this brand and it’s a lovely company to work with,” says Groth.
Abundant Natural Health is one of several brands taking a holistic approach to health and beauty; an approach which focuses on the inside out. Linking into the ingestibles world, when your gut is healthy your skin blossoms and your eyes are bright.
