Ebony Worsley, Morphe regional manager, far right, chatted exclusively to esprit.

Following a fun-filled launch party last week to launch cult makeup brand Morphe into the Australian market, esprit caught up with Ebony Worsley, Morphe regional manager, to hear exclusively about the brand’s local plans.

Tell us about the brand’s vision?

“Morphe is excited to bring our incredible products to Morphe babes Down Under. Our founders Chris and Linda Tawil started with a bold, but simple vision – to create killer products that won’t kill your wallet. We believe that everybody should be able to express themselves and their creativity through makeup. Which is why our products and tools deliver professional quality and performance at an accessible price.”

How has Morphe been received locally?

“The response to Morphe in Australia has blown us away. We entered Australia with an amazing partnership with Mecca. Then, our first store in Melbourne Central opened on November 1, finally giving Australian customers a chance to swatch, play and enjoy the full Morphe range, including our killer collabs, and well as our exclusive third party brands like Plouise Makeup Academy, Nabla and of course, Jeffree Star Cosmetics.”

Celebrity makup artist and esprit columnist Michael Brown at the launch party.

Future plans for Morphe?

“Our second store in Chadstone is due to open before Christmas 2019 and will feature a Studio Morphe space. It’s a project unique to our brand, where customers can join us for in-depth masterclasses and services. And there’s more to come for Studio Morphe in the future, including opportunities for customers to create and film their own social content. Supporting killer artistry is at the heart of what we do, and with so much talent in Australia, we can’t wait to see what our #morphebabes can do.”
