Qure Skincare, the brand behind the Q-Rejuvalight Pro LED Mask, has earned a place on the Australian Financial Review’s 2024 Fast Starters List, a prestigious recognition of Australia’s fastest-growing start-ups.

The sibling duo at the helm, Kristina and Matt Orlic, have turned their shared vision for accessible skincare into a thriving business. Revenue has skyrocketed by more than 460% from FY2023 to FY2024, cementing Qure’s position as a leader in the beauty tech industry.

As reported by the AFR, Qure’s journey began with Kristina’s battle with skin issues and Matt’s experiments with LED light therapy. Their collaboration resulted in the 2022 launch of the Q-Rejuvalight Pro LED Mask, which soon achieved a milestone as an FDA-cleared at-home device for both anti-ageing and anti-acne treatments.

“From day one, our mission has been to make the most innovative and high-quality skincare technology accessible to everyone, and this recognition validates the impact we’re having in the beauty industry,” Matt said. “Everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin, and we are making that possible. Any award is just a bonus. Earlier this year, we were honoured to be named one of the top three beauty brands on the rise, with a 569% surge in searches. We’re just getting started!”

Kristina, who has a strong background in skincare training and marketing, highlighted the brand’s commitment to inclusivity. “Our passion for creating accessible, science-backed skincare solutions has been at the heart of everything we do,” she said.

“Our mission is clear: to break down barriers and make professional skincare treatments accessible and affordable to everyone. Our goal is to shape a future where good skin is a right, not a luxury. This belief drives us forward, and with over 100% growth in sales this year, it’s clear that people resonate with our vision.

“I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and the global community we’ve built. We’re excited to continue pushing boundaries, empowering individuals to achieve their skincare goals, and proving that high-quality, clinical skincare can be accessible and affordable for all.”

Now in its fourth year, Qure Skincare is preparing to launch more personalised solutions to further its mission.

Meanwhile, Shelley Sullivan’s MCoBeauty has seen remarkable growth, with revenue surging from $31.2 million in 2022 to $261.4 million in 2024—a CAGR of 189.6%—earning it sixth place on the AFR‘s Fast 100 List, the fastest growing companies in Australia.

Founded in 2016, the brand thrived during the pandemic and gained fame by “duping” popular cosmetics with similar packaging, a legal practice. However, the Sydney-based brand has tightened processes after facing two trademark infringement lawsuits and is now Australia’s fastest-growing beauty brand.

Stocked in over 1500 Woolworths, Big W, Priceline stores, and online, MCoBeauty holds 54% of Woolworths’ cosmetics share and leads growth in the category where it competes with global giants like Maybelline and Revlon. Following its recent US debut in Kroger, the brand has further expansions plans for the US and Europe in 2025.
