Charlize Theron was nominated for Best Actress at this year’s Academy Awards for her portrayal of Megyn Kelly in Bombshell.

Although she didn’t take home the shiny gold statue, we think the South African stunner deserves and Oscar for her immaculate red-carpet look.

The 44-year-old wore a stunning black gown by Dior, perfectly matched with makeup by Kate Lee, who described her look as “a subtle, glowing complexion with defined details to complement her statuesque gown and stunning gamine crop”.

Adir Abergel styled her blonde hair in its signature side swoop, with the hidden element of a  surprise accessory on the back of her head.

We’ve got the detailed breakdown of her iconic, fresh makeup look below, created of course, using Dior, in just seven easy steps.

You’re welcome.

  1. Use the new Dior Capture Totale Cell Energy Serum-Lotion to refresh and even out the skin, followed by the Energy Super Potent Serum , the Energy Creme, and the Energy Eye Cream to hydrate and revitalise the skin.
  2. To create an even base, apply the Dior Forever Skin Glow #2n and the Dior Forever Skin Correct #2n to on any areas that need additional coverage.
  3. Use the Dior Skin Mineral Nude Bronze #004 Warm Sunrise to add warmth and the Dior Rosy Glow Blush #004 Coral for a bit of colour on the cheeks.
  4. Apply the Dior Skin Luminizer Glow Vibes #002 Coral Vibes high on the cheekbones to create a beautiful glow.
  5. For the eyes, use the Dior 5 Couleurs #767 Inflame. Then apply the Dior Eyeliner Waterproof #594 Intense Brown on the lower lash line to define the eye.
  6.  Follow with a coat of the Dior Show Mascara #090 Pro Black on both top and bottom lashes.
  7. As a finishing touch, use the Dior Addict Stellar Halo Shine #543 Peace Star for a natural pink lip.
