Shop! ANZ, a not-for-profit industry association advocating for excellence in shopper marketing and retail experience, is inviting retail marketing professionals to participate in the first ANZ Shopper and Retail Marketing Industry Survey in three years.

Conducted by Shop! ANZ, together with House of Brand senior director Norrelle Goldring, focus areas of the 2020 State of Retail Marketing Survey include experience, support and resource levels in individuals and organisations; shopper marketing activation types, touchpoints and measurement; digital, mobile and social shopper and retail marketing practices; and trends, challenges and the future.

Shop! ANZ general manager Carla Bridge said the survey is one of the biggest of its kind in the world. “We invite retailers, brands, manufacturers and retail-related agencies of all types to provide their views by April 3, so we can collectively understand how much progress the industry has made in the past three years and gauge how we can expect retail marketing to change.

“Participants are encouraged to share the survey link to relevant industry contacts – the more responses, the greater our view on the industry.”

Participants in the 2020 State of Retail Marketing Survey will receive a free copy of the research report valued at $295. Key findings will be presented at the Shop! ANZ Professional Development Series events in Sydney and Melbourne on 7 May and 13 May, respectively.
