NEW SKIN FOOD BODY LOTION
Skin Food Body Lotion is the new everyday hero. Inspired by the proven Skin Food formula for rich, intensive skincare. It absorbs quickly, provides intense, long-lasting moisture to dry skin and envelops it in the iconic Skin Food scent of sweet orange, aromatic lavender and warm vanilla notes from benzoin resin.
The new Skin Food Body Lotion is an extension of Weleda’s collection of multi-purpose moisturisers for dry skin. Providing intensive and long-lasting moisture, this body lotion is crafted with organic sunflower oil as well as natural botanical extracts of pansy,
organic calendula, organic chamomile blossoms and organic rosemary leaves, which are at the heart of the original Skin Food formula. Organic shea butter also works to preserve the skin’s own moisture. The distinctive Skin Food fragrance harmonises with the lotion’s light texture, making this new member of the Skin Food family ideal for everyday use.
Sustainable from A to Z
Sustainability is at the heart of Weleda and part of its DNA. Weleda’s goal is to increase the proportion of recycled materials in its primary glass, aluminium and plastic packaging to at least 65% by the end of 2022. Making the switch to a bottle made of 97% rPet (excluding lid and label) for the body lotion is an important step towards achieving these goals.
As a member of the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT), Weleda actively takes responsibility for the people who grow, harvest and process the raw materials for the company, as well as for the sustainable use and protection of natural habitats. Over 60% of the ingredients in the body lotions come from an audited supply chain in accordance with the UEBT standard “Sourcing with Respect”.
