Tom Ford Research Serum Concentrate and Crème

Tom Ford Beauty has expanded its partnership with Estée Lauder Companies to create luxury skincare Tom Ford Research.

This is the first skincare line from the fashion house, which began selling cosmetics in 2011.

“My vision is to merge breakthrough skin science with true luxury, to create transformative skincare regardless of skin type or gender,” said Tom Ford in the official press release.

In preparation for the range, Tom Ford assembled a team of scientists to research the latest skincare innovations.

“Working closely with a team of scientists, we develop what is truly remarkable and that which delivers undeniable visible results,” said Ford.

The highly concentrated formula was built from research which found caffeine to energise skin for a healthy-looking complexion. Similar to drinking a shot of espresso in the morning.

These findings have since been presented at the American Academy of Dermatology Conference.

The Tom Ford Research Serum Concentrate and Creme Concentrate contain three variations of caffeine.


White Porcelain Cacao, an extremely rare and delicate variety of cacao, helps protect the skin from free radicals and maintains the skin’s natural energy. Caffeine is used to support hydration and Gyokuro (a type of green tea) soothes and provides antioxidant protection.

Tom Ford Research trialled and rejected 74 unique serum variations before approving formula number 75.

Currently, Tom Ford Research Serum Concentrate and Creme Concentrate are the only products available in the range. New additions, including an eye cream, are set to be released in Spring 2020.
