Retail workers, known for their fast-paced and physically demanding roles, will soon have a new ally to support their active lifestyles. The highly anticipated Asics Gel-Kayano 30 running shoe combines market-leading stability with unprecedented levels of comfort.

In the bustling world of retail, where customer satisfaction is paramount, employees often find themselves on their feet for extended periods. Depending on shift length, their step counts can surpass 10,000 steps per day. Negotiating tight spaces and executing repetitive movement patterns throughout the store has become an integral part of their daily routine, requiring footwear that offers both support and comfort.

The Gel-Kayano is renowned for its iconic status in the running shoe industry and has long been a favourite among athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

One of the standout features of the Gel-Kayano 30 is its revolutionary 4D Guidance System technology. Designed to provide adaptive stability, this innovative system adjusts to the runner’s pronation changes throughout the entire run.

By dynamically responding to the wearer’s movements, it minimises the risk of injuries and maximises comfort, ensuring that marathon runners (and retail workers) can confidently tackle their demanding routines.

To celebrate the release of the Gel-Kayano 30, Asics has created a pop-up time-travel portal at Westfield Bondi Junction to give Sydney fans the opportunity to step back in time to 1993 when the Gel-Kayano Trainer was first created and learn all about the ways this iconic shoe has evolved since then.

Guests will also have the opportunity to wear-test the new Gel-Kayano 30 and experience the next level of comfort in a stability shoe.

This interactive experience is on Level 2 (Opposite Glassons) until 18th July.
