Weleda, a skincare brand with over 100 years of expertise in natural skincare and anthroposophic medicines, is known for its commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing of ingredients.

Founded by Dr Rudolf Steiner, Weleda pioneered the use of biodynamic and organic ingredients in the personal care industry and the B-Corp certified brand’s dedication to preserving biodiversity, minimising waste, and offering vegan products aligns with its mission to make the world a better place for people and nature.

Weleda’s Skin Food range has been a beloved choice for those seeking intensive and natural skincare solutions, and now the brand has expanded its iconic range to include a face-specific, vegan skincare collection.

This new range harnesses the power of five key Skin Food ingredients: pansy, chamomile, calendula, rosemary extracts, and sunflower oil.

The collection includes three products:

  • Skin Food Nourishing Day Cream: Proven to boost skin’s moisture levels by 72% in 15 minutes, this day cream offers long-lasting hydration. It’s fast-absorbing, nourishing, and suitable for use under makeup.
  • Skin Food Nourishing Night Cream: This night cream, proven to boost moisture levels by 81%, helps replenish skin while sleeping. It includes Sacha Inchi Oil and offers intensive nourishment and cell regeneration.
  • Skin Food Nourishing Cleansing Balm: This natural cleansing balm contains extracts of pansy, chamomile, rosemary, calendula, and sunflower oil. It effectively removes dirt, grime, and makeup while nourishing and refreshing the skin.

All products in the Skin Food Face Care collection are dermatologically tested and come with Weleda’s unmistakable Skin Food fragrance, a unique blend of sweet orange, aromatic lavender, and warm vanilla notes of benzoin.

To celebrate the launch of Skin Food Face Care, media and influencers were invited to indulge in a Three Blue Ducks three-course meal, delicious grazing dessert table, cocktails and of course, all the top information on the new Weleda range, courtesy of David Johnston, Managing Director of Weleda Australia.
