Lush has revealed its new eco stores with the first opening in Adelaide in Rundle Mall and the second opening as the new Lush flagship store in Melbourne Central.
Both stores showcase a new and improved eco-concept as part of Lush’s mission to ‘Leave the world Lusher than we found it’ with the new stores designed with repurposed furniture alongside ethically sourced and durable materials.
Sustainability and the ethical sourcing of materials are at the forefront of not only the ingredients that go into our fresh handmade cosmetics, but also the design and construction of our beautiful and innovative stores said Amy Irvin, Retail Operations Manager at Lush speaking with guests at the Melbourne Central event.
Both new stores have been designed with a variety of recycled and repurposed materials including countertops using post-consumer waste from yoghurt posts and plastic packaging as well as more energy-efficient LED lighting.
Adelaide customers were treated to the first look at the new eco store concept and the much-loved Limited Edition Halloween Range, Lord of Misrule alongside favourite cult products including the bath bomb, perfume and shower gel.
In Melbourne, the store was decked out in pink to celebrate the opening with guests celebrating with Snow Fairy Cocktails, fairy floss and festive canapés while having fun with the Lush-stocked gumball machine and enjoying the stunning pink bathroom installation complete with a candy-coloured bubble bath in place.
Lush operates stores in 49 countries globally, with most locations located in the US, as well as production facilities located in the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Japan and of course, Australia.
