New Zealand founded, owned, and made skincare range, Antipodes, has emerged as the proud recipient of the highly sought-after Best Beauty & Cosmetics Product award at this year’s Naturally Good event.
The event took place on Monday, June 5, at Sydney’s ICC. The Lime Caviar Collagen-Rich Firming Cream by Antipodes outshone other notable contenders such as La Maxime’s Dewy Glowy Exfoliating Scrub & Hydrating Mask, Ethique’s Vegan Lipsticks, Lust Minerals’ AHA Exfoliating Lotion, Ena Products’ Essential Oil Roll, and Newnordic’s Hayaluronic Active Serum.
This year’s event at Sydney’s ICC brought together an impressive array of top exhibitors, with nominations spanning across 13 categories.
Sensoriam, a natural perfume brand, also secured a nomination for Best New Brand.
The judges were captivated by the Antipodes natural-origin cream, which incorporates lime caviar, sepilift DPHP, and avocado oil. This AHA moisturiser, supported by scientific research, is certified organic, vegan, and suitable for various skin types, particularly dry and mature skin.
Jennifer Giles, Antipodes National Business Manager, said the brand was delighted with the win. “We’re really proud of this product which is primed to plump and has impressive collagen benefits,” she said. “We launched the product in September, and it’s done so well that it’s currently sold out. We’re currently waiting on the next production run and it should be available in about four weeks. We get so many comments from both women and men that their skin looks so smooth and that it’s great for fine lines.
“We’ve attended Naturally Good for the last three years and it’s always a great opportunity to meet other beauty brands and retailers. It’s a great honour to be awarded this year’s Beauty prize.”
Naturally Good Product Manager, Sinead Kavanagh, said the quality of entrants this year had exceeded all expectations. “The standard of products and brands is phenomenal considering the natural health space has become such a competitive space,” she said.
“The level of dedication and innovation has been so impressive that we included a number of new categories this year. Given it’s only the second year we have held the awards, we are anticipating even more categories and entrants next year.
“Being presented with such a prestigious award is a major accolade which will accelerate growth and interest in winning brands. Congratulations to our deserving winners and all who entered.”
