Stylists and consumers can use the tool on freshly cleansed wet hair and simply glide the tool down from the root to ends to dry and style. The Shine Shot mode transforms the tool in the touch of a button into a ghd styler with no airflow, working at the brand’s usual optimal temperature of 185°C to style hair that is, at that point, already dry.
The hero airfusion technology is comprised of five elements. The original air filter design allows for maximum airflow to be drawn into the styler, ensuring the capacity to powerfully dry and style simultaneously. The airflow is then propelled by an ultra-compact brushless digital motor delivering a precise air speed that passes through a heater to reach the optimal styling temperature without damaging the hair.
The drying and styling chamber is an air grille that works in synergy with the plates to dry the hair, while the four smart styling plates utilise infinity sensors to predict the hair’s needs and the optimal low styling temperature required, to retain moisture in the hair. Finally, expertly angled root drying vents concentrate the airflow inside the chamber to direct outwards at an even lower temperature that ideally styles and dries the roots.
