In 2022, the global Teeth Whitening Products market had a value of $22.41 billion.
Reports indicate that it will experience a growth rate of 4.34 per cent during the forecast period, ultimately reaching $28.94 billion by 2031.
Polished London‘s origins trace back to the iconic Harley Street in London, where Debbie Sleeman, the Founder and CEO, practiced as a Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Specialist.
Recognising a gap in the market for affordable, non-invasive, peroxide-free teeth whitening products suitable for home use, she embarked on years of dedicated research and close collaboration with a Harley Street dental expert and a team of UK-based dentists.
The company quickly gained momentum, notably when Sir Richard Branson personally penned a supportive note, which Debbie proudly shared on LinkedIn, cementing the brand’s strong endorsement.
Retail Beauty caught up with the business owner for an exclusive chat when she was in town at the recent Priceline Beauty Prescription Live event.
“We are seamlessly blending beauty with oral care, making it an integral part of your beauty routine,” she said. “Just as we prioritise skincare and haircare, it’s equally essential to include smile care in our daily regimen.”
Debbie explained more about the brand’s latest launch, the “groundbreaking” Hyaluronic Teeth Whitening Powder.
“It is the world’s first and designed to combat stubborn stains for a brighter, whiter, and healthier smile,” she said. “Our formula is packed with nourishing vitamins A, C, and E, along with hyaluronic acid for gum and tissue hydration and improved saliva production. We’ve also fortified our powder with calcium to safeguard your smile by remineralising enamel and restoring its protective layer.”
Debbie emphasised that her brand’s distinctive feature was its peroxide-free approach, guaranteeing no enamel sensitivity.
“We use clinically proven PAP (Phthalimido-Peroxy-Caproic) instead of hydrogen peroxide and carbamide, which can harm teeth and gums,” she said. “PAP gently oxidises stubborn surface stains, resulting in a cleaner and brighter smile.”
